The Sri Lanka National Youth Chess Championship 2026 brings together qualified junior and youth players from all 9 provinces to compete for official national age-group titles.
Tournament Regulations & Schedule
- Format: 9-Round Swiss System played under FIDE Laws of Chess.
- Eligibility: Open to qualified players in Under 07, Under 09, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15, Under 17, and Under 19 (Open & Girls) divisions.
- Round 1 Reporting Time: 8:30 AM sharp at the main tournament hall.
- Awards: Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, official certificates, and national squad selection for top finishers in each category.
